United Way 2-1-1 is a multi-lingual, comprehensive information and referral service available 24 hours a day in 170 languages. Its database contains more than 20,000 programs and services. Individuals can also call 2-1-1 for volunteer opportunities in their area.
Michigan State University Extensions provide counseling and education to homeowners facing possible foreclosure and education and training related to financial education and literacy.
Other supportive services include education and training related to family well-being, nutrition and maternal child health.
